Publication in National Geographic Spain

One of my photos taken in a Cambridge pub appeared in a recent copy of the Spanish National Geographic Traveller magazine in their Cambridge in Winter feature.

CSK Radiance cargo de 289 m à Rouen !

Voici l'arrivée et le déchargement du CSK Radiance : minéralier de 289 m de long et 45 m de large, c'est un capesize. Il décharge 65 000 tonnes de charbon au terminal Sea Invest à Grand Couronne.
Je dois dire que c'est spectaculaire de voire un si grand bateau arriver de loin, tiré par des remorqueurs. Le déchargement l'est aussi, la plus grosse pèle pouvant contenir 28 tonnes de charbon. La vue qu'on a du pont est saisissante.

Here is the arrival of the CSK Radiance, a 289 m long and 45 m wide, capesize bulk carrier. It is unloading 65 000 tons of coal at the Sea Invest terminal in Grand Couronne. Such a large ship on the Seine is spectacular as is the view from its bridge and the unloading. The largest shovel takes 28 tons of coal in one bite.

Mongolian feature published in Universum magazine

Great news this morning: my Austrian agency asablanca.com has managed to publish my Mongolian Naadam Festival feature in the Austrian Universum magazine. I have the cover picture. This is the first time the story gets published in whole with text so am most pleased! For those who don't know asablanca.com they are brand new and selling a lot of interesting features, a big thanks again to them.

This factory in Port Jérôme near Le Havre makes industrial polymers for many kinds of applications one of which is car tyres. Here you see the process from research by chemists to the final product leaving the factory. I like industrial photography as one learns about the difficulties and challenges often faced in the production of mundane things that are a part of our everyday life. I take things less for granted when I see the care and skill involved.
